Welcome to beautiful Northern Ontario's Chapleau Lodge; a drive in resort on 12 mile long Borden Lake. We are within the Arctic watershed and have water depths to 200 feet and 80 islands, which hold the big trophy fish. Our lake and the neighbouring lakes offer trophy walleye, pike, lake trout, brook trout and bass fishing at it's best. Borden Lake is a spring-fed lake over 12 miles long and up to 200 feet deep. Chapleau Lodge is the only lodge on the lake, which has given us the ability to have some environmental control as far as a catch & release attitude, which has helped the lake sustain its incredible fish population. We have an in-ground pool, Sauna, an alcohol licensed dining room, high speed Internet connection in the main lodge.
Our Salmon & Halibut fishing lodge is located in Haida, Gwaii, BC. At Hippa Island we are blessed with incredible abundance of all species of fish including Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Ling Cod, Sea Bass and much more! If you're looking for the thrill of reeling in a record breaking Halibut you've come to the right place! With a maximum of twelve discerning guests at the fishing lodge and a crew of eight, we pride ourselves in offering an unsurpassed personalized service for our guests. 1 to 3 comfortable beds per room depending on your party size. Private showers and washrooms in each cabin. Hot tub on the after deck to ease aching muscles (along with robes to get you there).
Camp has access to over 1,700 acres of connecting waters and is home to Northern Pike, Large & Small-Mouth Bass, Walleye and a variety of Pan Fish. Charlton Lake Camp offers one, two, and three bedroom housekeeping cottages. These cottages have fully equipped kitchens, three-piece bathrooms (sink, toilet, and shower), potable water, and electric heat. All cottages have double and/or queen-sized beds (pillows and linens are included). Each cottage faces the lake, has a fully screened porch, propane barbeque, picnic table, and docking slip.
The Chataway Lakes area has remained relatively unknown. The dozen lakes that make up the Chataway group are not famous for particularly large fish, nor are they particularly large themselves. Wild native Kamloops Rainbow Trout nurtured by some of the best spawning creeks in British Columbia average one to 3 pounds, while some of the back lakes give up five pound beauties. The Lodge and Cabins are built of logs. The housekeeping cabins are well maintained and offer seclusion and a restful view of the lake. First and foremost, we are very rustic. There is no plumbing in the cabins, nor in the campsite. Taps for drinking water, are located in close proximity to all the cabins and campsites.
offers you a chance to fish both the Upper French River and Lake Nippising. These waters are yielding more and more big fish every year, it is prime fishing territory and its waters are well respected amongst the angling community. It holds world record Musky, Walleye second to none, Large and Smallmouth Bass and huge Northern Pike. It now boasts an official live release World Record Muskie caught by Kevin Davison on October 6th 2006. The waterfront cottages at Chaudière Lodge are 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms in size and can accommodate two, four, or six guests. They are all in excellent condition, spotless and modern and will meet the standards of any fishing group or couple alike. Bathrooms are all three or four piece very clean with flush toilets and hot and cold running water. Map & Direcions
Our careful management and remote location has preserved our world-class rainbow trout, lake fishing. The average fish size is 2 ½ pounds. There are many days when experienced fly fishermen will catch 50 fish a day.In addition to the main lake we have boats on several walk- in lakes and easy access to stream fishing. For a change of pace try one of the 6 fly-in fishing lakes within a 70 mile radius of Chaunigan Lake. Four fully serviced 500 to 650 sq. ft. 1 & 2 bedroom log cabins with sun decks. Five one room 12 ft x 16 ft log cabins with 2 single bunks, a fold out futon couch that makes into a double bed, wood stove for heat and propane cooking stove & propane lights. A water pump is located on the beach as there is no running water. Also a full service main lodge.
Because of our cold water the northern pike and lake trout bite well year round. The main lodge has 8 guest rooms accommodating from 1 to 4 guests. Our American plan includes boat and motor, gas, bedding, meals and towels. We have good maps, so if you venture on your own you will have no problems. If you wish to have a guide, we will supply one that will operate the boat, clean the fish and will keep the boat clean. Fish for up to 8 hours per day with 2 people per boat. The lodge is mainly constructed of logs. Eight guest rooms, a large dining area and a new recreation room complete with a pool table and a card playing area all compliment the lodge. We have our own power plant and freezer facilities. We also have two cabins near the lodge with showers in each.
