Description

From the central location of the lodge, we fish Knight Inlet and the surrounding waters for all five species of Pacific salmon, with our main focus on the large Chinook (King or Tyee) with our well seasoned staff. The lodge opens in early May when we begin fishing the upper reaches of the Knight Inlet. The fish are a mixture of 8 — 25 lb. "feeder" Chinook and some larger (up to 50 lb.) mature Chinook. In late June, we relocate the lodge to the mouth of the inlet. Here we fish for the migrating runs of all five species of Pacific salmon. Another benefit of this location is the opportunity to try a little bottom fishing for halibut, lingcod and rockfish. The lodge is appointed with 5 comfortable guest rooms featuring twin beds and sinks, three full service washrooms with shower, a common dining/living area, and very large deck space.

Fly away to your own private log cabin, and have a whole lake to yourselves. We are based in the tiny town of Jellicoe, Ontario, but you will be flying to our isolated camps, deep in the heart of the Northern wilderness. You will be enjoying some of the best fishing in Ontario when you book one of our camps. All three camps have hand-operated water pumps beside the kitchen sinks in the cabin. CSA approved woodstoves for heating. Propane fridges, stoves, barbecues, hot water tanks and back-up lighting. There is no communication between the camp and the seaplane base. George does one camp check mid-week, but you are out of contact with the outside world the rest of your trip. Be safe.
