The lakes north of Nakina have always been well known for producing good numbers of Northern Pike as well as trophies. Of all of the top-producing Pike lakes in the area Brace Lake is the best and consistently produces trophy Pike. This is not a lake where you might catch a trophy northern. It's a lake where you will catch a Trophy Northern. No other lakes in the world have better Walleye fishing than the lakes north of Nakina and Brace Lake is one of the very best. When you fish for Walleye on Brace Lake you will experience non-stop action on most days.
We are located on Banning Lake, the centre of the Seine River Chain of Lakes. Right from the lodge you have water-access to 5 lakes / 30 miles of terrific fishing without ever having to leave your boat. The Seine Chain of Lakes offers an incredible array of walleye fishing opportunities throughout the system. With a surplus of ideal habitat - shallow & weedy bays, deep drop offs, islands and reefs and a healthy bait fish population, the northern pike thrive on the Seine Chain. The Seine Chain of Lakes is home to some of the best smallmouth bass fishing in Northwestern Ontario. There are a number of lakes in the Atikokan area where you can experience great Crappie fishing. Our cabins offer Full kitchen with 4 burner stove & oven, electric fridge, full bathroom, Propane BBQ, Satellite TV, Electric heat / air conditioning.
Whitefish lake is approximately 22 square miles in size.It is home to Walleye, jumbo Perch, Northern and small mouth bass. The big attraction is the perch and the allowed double linit on whitefish lake. The Sportsmans license allows you to take home 100 perch and the Conservation license allows you to keep 50 fish. We are central to lakes with bass, lake trout and speckled trout. All of our cabins are equiped with a stove, refrigerator and microwave. We supply all cooking and eating utensils. Bedding and towels are NOT provided. We have live bait, fishing licenses and freezer space available.

But, being part of a Great lake means that musky, sturgeon, salmon and trout are also possibilities. We're located on the Whalesback Channel of Lake Huron at the mouth of the Spanish River. This means you have two great water systems to fish. The Spanish River is one of the most productive rivers in Northern Ontario for walleye in particular. Many of the surrounding lakes are stocked from the Spanish River. You can be sure that your cabin will be immaculately clean and will have a gorgeous view overlooking the bay through a large picture window.

The camp offers quiet surroundings, large screened gazebo and fire pit area with easy access to great fishing options on Dinorwic and Wabigoon Lakes. Our camp caters to "Self-Sufficient" guests who have their own equipment and understand fishing. Boat rentals are available but we do not offer motor rentals or gas/bait. Dinorwic Lake offers excellent Walleye, Northern Pike, Small Mouth Bass fishing as well as Perch and Muskies. Lake Trout are found in many lakes off of or close to Dinorwic Lake.
While at Brownell Lake you must take advantage of the opportunity tofish all five lakes They all offersuper walleye (2-6 pounds). Also abundant are northern pike (2-15 pounds) with the largest at 28 pounds. At Brownell Lake we have 3 large cabins that each have 2 bedrooms, cooking and eating area and a screened in porch overlooking the lake. The cabin on Kvamsing Lake is situated on an island. The spacious cabin has 2 bedrooms, kitchen and eating area. For your convenience we have a shower house, flush toilet, a wood charcoal BBQ and filleting table. 16 foot aluminum boats are equipped with Mercury motors, boat seats, life jackets, paddles and anchors.
