All cabins have their own private dock, 3pc bath, hot showers, and fully equipped kitchens with the added touch of a barbeque. We are happy to announce that in 2013, we acquired 4 outpost locations we can now offer our guests.
Our numbers tell the real story about our prolonged success, and proven results. Not only do we catch some of the biggest walleye each year, we have broken Manitoba's record for most Trophy Walleyes in a single season the last 2 years in a row. Gunisao Lake has some great Northern Pike fishing too. We average between 50 to 70 Master Angler Pike per season, with some of the largest topping out at 47 inches. The spacious Lodge is log built with a 3-story high ceiling, roaring fireplace, and a million-dollar view of the lake. In addition to serving our Five-Star meals, it offers free WIFI, satellite TV during the evenings, ice machines, and a fully stocked tackle & souvenir shop. All cabins are comfortable and convenient - just a short walk to both the docks and the Lodge.
The Bulkley River Lodge is located on a remote section of one of the best Steelhead rivers on the planet. The Bulkley River is blessed with over ninety miles of classic fly water holding Steelhead from 5 to 30 pounds. River-front access and no neighbors are great assets for a fishing lodge. Jet boat access from the front yard to prime beats is another advantage. Your cabin is literally a stone's throw away from world class fishing - just put the waders on and grab the rod. Accommodation is limited to 8 guests per week in 4 double occupancy cabins that have heat and private bath rooms. Internet is available in all cabins via wireless router. There are multiple daily flights departing from the Vancouver airport arriving at the Smithers airport. From the airport in Smithers we will have transportation waiting for you.

Bush Country Camp Walleye is the main species at the camp and is primarily found in Lake Sasseginega. This species can be found Country Camp cabins are fully equipped with cooking pots, plates, utensils, etc. All have propane stoves and fridges with wood stoves for heating. Most have screened in porches to unwind in after a day of fishing throughout the three lakes accessible from the camp. We have excellent Lake Trout fishing from May through to September .All 9 of Bush or to hang wet clothes in. Live minnows aren't allowed in Quebec, therefore you should get salted minnows or worms at Temiscaming or Kipawa. We have frozen minnows and worms available at the camp to purchase if you run out.
With over 60 lakes in our immediate area, the fishing opportunities are endless. There is crystal clear Paint Lake which offers excellent Lake Trout, Walleye and Northern fishing. From Paint Lake you can boat up to Expantion Lake and the beautiful Sturgeon River waterway for 15 miles to Twin Falls. Nearby is 8 mile long Northwind Lake where Walleye in the 6 to 8 lb. range are common. Lake Nipigon is 62 miles long and 44 miles wide with a recorded depth of 450 feet. Lake trout in the 20 lb. range are quite common with 3 fish over 50 lbs. being recorded in our area in 2004. All cabins are fully equipped housekeeping units with spring fresh well water and new appliances including microwaves and slow cookers. All new cookware and acc. are also included, just bring your own food!
