These lakes are located off dirt and gravel roads and are difficult to access. Because of this they are seldom fished by locals and other tourists. After we determine the species and population of a lake and decide to use it, we cut an inconspicuous trail for our guests to travel on. This gives you the opportunity to fish these beautiful lakes in solitude. As our guest you will truly enjoy fishing different lakes that contain; Walleye, Northern Pike, Perch, Whitefish and Lake Trout. Don't be concerned about where to fish each day. Lac La Croix is one of the few lakes in the region to offer excellent fishing for walleye, northern pike, lake trout, smallmouth bass and crappies. Guides are not essential, but they will add much to the pleasure of your day as well as taking you to the finest fishing around! All of our guides are experienced, capable Chippewa Natives and are members of the Lac La Croix Guide Association. Housekeeping cabins are fully equipped with cooking utensils, small kitchen appliances and linens. Daily maid service (except kitchen area) and linen changes are provided according to the length of your stay. Boatel accommodations are deluxe. The Grand Cascapedia produces a dozen or so fish in excess of forty pounds each year and is consistently the producer of the largest Atlantic salmon in North America. Camp Brûlé remains a fishing camp and in season, one look at the porch tells you this as each new group of fishermen and women bedeck the area with a pot-pouri of rods, reels, lines, leaders and fly tying materials. Today, the general rule is informality and this guides our overall treatment of the entire hospitality side of our operation.

Clearwater Lake is part of the Pipestone / Clearwater Chain of Lakes and it is possible to access over 70 miles of waterways from this location. Camp Carlisle allows you to take in the natural beauty of the area while offering a multitude of activities for your family. Our rustic, comfortable cabins are well-equipped and maintained, with electric stoves, lights, refrigerators, indoor plumbing, kitchen facilities, utensils, and screened-in summer porches. We have a central shower house for all cabins and nearby decks with barbeques.

Welcome to Champdoré Fishing Camp, located on Lac Champdoré, the headwaters of the Whale River (Rivière Baleine). By floatplane we are 90 miles northeast of Schefferville, Québec. Champdoré is unquestionably one of the world's greatest fly-fishing and shallow-water angling areas. We are blessed with both large and abundant fish, as well as the sheer variety of fish, i.e., Lake Trout, Brook Trout, Ouananiche (landlocked Atlantic Salmon) and Northern Pike. While our new accommodations are quite comfortable, by its very nature this can be a very rough environment. This will never be a luxurious lodge, or a bug-free environment, and we wouldn't want it to be.
The main camp at the north end of Lake Kikwissi was built by my father in the late 1950's and has been in the family ever since. Three more sites on the lake have been added to Camp Coucoushee. No other cabins or cottages are on Lake Kikwissi. Additionally, we have a cabin on Lac Grand Marécage (Big Swampy Lake), which is accessible via floatplane or ATV from a nearby road. The main camp may be reached by road. All our comfortable cabins have propane cook stoves, refrigerators and stoves for heat. Some sites have hot showers as well. Thus, we have a unique combination of wilderness and comfort.
